EVA sole is characterized by good softness, rubber-like elasticity, good flexibility, transparency and surface gloss under 0 C, good chemical stability, anti-aging and ozone resistance, non-toxicity. It has good mixing property with filler, good dyeing and processing property. How many steps does the production of EVA insoles consist of? The manufacturer of EVA sole tells us that the usual production of EVA insole is cold pressing. The main production steps are as follows:

The EVA material of the laminated fabric is cut to fit the size of the insole mould, and the pressed EVA foamed sole is trimmed or cut. Make insoles; put the softened EVA material into the mould of the machine to form. Molding dies are usually hollow, with refrigerating water to control the temperature of the mould between 15 and 20 degrees Celsius. EVA foamed sole material is cooled and compressed in the mould, which changes the shape of EVA material and forms the shape of insole; the cut EVA insole material is baked in an oven at 150-190 C until the EVA material becomes soft and mature.

The material of EVA sole is ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer, which is prepared by copolymerization of ethylene and vinyl acetate. The content of EVA sole is 5%-40%. Compared with polyethylene, EVA has been widely used in hot-melt adhesive, foamed shoe material, packaging film, functional greenhouse film, wire and cable, toys and other fields because of its introduction of vinyl acetate monomer in molecular chain, which reduces high crystallinity, improves flexibility, impact resistance, filler compatibility and thermal sealing performance.

EVA features: water resistance: non-absorbent, closed cell structure, moisture-proof, water resistance is good. Corrosion resistance: Oil, seawater, acid, alkali and other chemical corrosion, non-toxic, anti-bacterial, tasteless, pollution-free. Processing: No joints, and easy to hot-press, glue, cutting, fitting and other processing. Anti-vibration: high resilience and tension resistance, high toughness, good shock/buffer performance. Insulation: Excellent heat insulation, cold insulation and low temperature performance, can withstand cold and sun exposure. Sound insulation: Closed bubble, sound insulation effect is good.
